Basic rule of thumb to lose unwanted weight:
- Less calories in - more calories out
- 3500 calories = 1 pound of fat
- Cut 500 calories per day and you could lose 1 pound per week
- Burn 250 calories in exercise and eat 250 calories less per day (not that hard to do!)
Now go get active and use those calories! How you ask? Any kind of physical activity you like to do is sufficient and maybe eat a little less at each meal. Additional tips could be: dump that soda, easy on the salad dressing, forget the french fries, eat less chips, cookies, snacks...... and add to your diet more fruit, veggies, and lean meats!
